Final task: CCR

 The final task was an amazing experience for my group and I. I've leaned more things about media during this task while working with my partners. I do believe that it was a learning experience for everyone and that we actually completed the goal that we set. The process was very fun and if I would have to do anything like this again, I would for sure be working with the same group. My CCR:

Production Blog: Halfway There

 My group and I are still currently filming our video for our final task. The due date for the assignment is almost near and we are halfway through the video. We currently recorded the parts where we decided that we were going to split then this weekend, we plan to meet up at a park and rehearse the last scene of the film. Due to the fact that the assignment is due in a week, I think my group is on perfect timing. After the meet on Sunday, we plan to start editing the video so that we can attach it to our blogs. On Sunday, it is our last shooting day out of 4. We plan on meeting up at a park where we all are close by, and we will shoot the last minute or the last few seconds of the film. The beginning or the first minute and a half of the film, we did all our recordings at our homes by ourselves. This works because it is like everyone is getting a phone call from separate areas. Editing Blog: Music Video Conventions

 During this project, the editing portion was fairly easy. The amount of practice that my partner and I have been doing from other projects has definitely paid off for this major project. The way my partner and I did this music video was at our houses because of safety reasons. We both did our parts at home because in the video, that is how it is shown so it was very easy for us to get our parts in and send it over to each other. My partner, Maiyah Dukes, played R Kelly and her part of the music video was first, so she was introduced first then I was next. She started lip-syncing her part then on the next clip I did the same. For her part, she had a major clip which consisted of 25 seconds. Then when it was my turn, because I played Usher, I also had a major part of speaking. Creative Critical Reflection - The Powerade Commercial

This commercial project was a great experience for me. It helped a lot with me improving my media skills which includes editing, and creating scenes. I have also learned a lot from doing this project and it was also very fun. Even though there were minor complications throughout the project, I still managed to do good and have fun doing it. My product, or commercial challenged conventions was challenged very well in my opinion. Though this was one of my first real official projects that I have did actual filming on, I think I gave what the audience would be looking for in a commercial even as a beginner. I gave them the thrill, the excitement, and i'm sure the audience that did watch it, attention was caught. In the beginning of my film, it started off as fast lights and thrilling music.
