AICE Media Studies

This concludes our final task for our project. Making this project with my group was very fun and adventurous. We went to many different places to film, though some were not the perfect spot to film, the adventure of going to different places with my group was amazing. During this project, with my group, I fully realized that you don't always have to stress and struggle with doing a school task. These types of task are like no other school task or school assignment, we actually get to record which is very fun for some people such as myself.  I think the group choosing of this project was pretty good too. I actually know everyone participating in the film personally so throughout the recording process, actually the whole project process, there wasn't any lack of communication. We would always make sure that we would submit our blogs on time and make sure that all of us are on the same page most of the time.  Today, my group and I finally met up at the park to do our last few scenes in our film. You can call it last minute recordings. But today was a good day and we finally did the last part of our film. At first, we met up at school around 4:30 to 5 pm today. Two of our group members are in sports so we had to wait until they got out of practice to begin doing our filming. About after 45 minutes to an hour of waiting, we finally left the campus to the park nearby the school. As we got to the park, of corse there were people there. So we had to decide where an appropriate recording spot was for our film. We then found the perfect place to record. The first scenes that we actually recorded was of everyone getting out of the car. After a few tries, we went into the actual part to begin the main recording. We found a shade in the park where we could do some recording. We then recorded the scene where they found out that they were all meeting at the park. Then after recording that scene, we th

 Unfortunately, not everything went right this past weekend. What we planned to do, which was to go to the park never happened. We planned this during the week and unfortunately one of our group mates couldn't attend because of work. We didn't know that she had work. It was a big problem because if she would have told us, we could have rescheduled earlier in the week. If we were to reschedule, it probably would have been better for all of us. For one, if we would have rescheduled, it would have happened earlier in the week like on that Thursday or Friday. If we would've recorded on one of those days, we probably would have been finished with the film by now. Secondly, if we did it before the weekend, she could have went to work with no problem. I also had unknown plans that day also, but though I had those plans, most likely, I would have cancelled my plans to do the project because it is really important. Though this minor issue happened, we plan to start a Plan B. We curr

 Finally, my group and I have officially decided what we were going to do and we confirmed it. So now, because we still haven't recorded our final part of the film, which will be recorded on Sunday, we are still at Base B with our film but for sure we are almost done. Currently, every member of the group has their own parts. Like said before in the last blog, we want to start editing our film around next Tuesday so that we can submit our film on Thursday. To start editing on Tuesday, we have to submit all of our clips by Tuesday so our editor of the group can start editing. It is for sure that every person apart of our group will be in the film. I will be in the first clip, I will be the one who commits suicide. Most likely I will only be in that only clip of the film. I will also be apart of another clip but I will be on a flyer. For the flyer of course, we would have to use that as a prop. The flyer will be only shown for about 10 seconds in the film so that the audience can read

 My group and I are still currently filming our video for our final task. The due date for the assignment is almost near and we are halfway through the video. We currently recorded the parts where we decided that we were going to split then this weekend, we plan to meet up at a park and rehearse the last scene of the film. Due to the fact that the assignment is due in a week, I think my group is on perfect timing. After the meet on Sunday, we plan to start editing the video so that we can attach it to our blogs. On Sunday, it is our last shooting day out of 4. We plan on meeting up at a park where we all are close by, and we will shoot the last minute or the last few seconds of the film. The beginning or the first minute and a half of the film, we did all our recordings at our homes by ourselves. This works because it is like everyone is getting a phone call from separate areas. During spring break, my group and i started our recording process for our film for our final task. Our group  has been working hard to get our first scene right. The first clip of the video is about 15 - 30 seconds long. After finishing it the editor of the group has begun doing the editing process of the film. Since the break, we haven't done much recording since. We want to film each scene piece by piece. We also understand that some of the group mates might b busy from time to time that's why we broke up our filming dates. We are also still currently in the starting process of our film. We do plan on doing some more recording this weekend since we do have a 3 day weekend and it gives us much time to do some recording. We plan on recording our second scene of the film and then try to do some more recording throughout the week. If we do this and the plan works out in our favor, our film can potentially be due before the actual due date. Our group want to make sure that we get
