Planning Blog: The Powerade Commercial

 Props:

Since this is a Powerade commercial, the most used prop in my commercial would be the Powerade beverage. It will include three different types of flavors such as grape, blueberry, and orange. Backup props will most likely be sport balls, and sports equipment.

Costumes:

Costumes that will be used in the commercial will be any types of sportswear such as tennis shoes, hats, pressure tights, workout tops and things such as that. Since this commercial is not based on brand, any brand could be worn during the commercial whether it is Nike, Adidas, or Under Armor.

Schedule:

On October 23, 2020, I started my research on the details that I would need for my commercial. Also, I started planning on what I would want to do for my commercials, for example props, costumes and actors.

On October 26, 2020, I will start my storyboard blog so I can prepare for creating my commercial.

On October 28, 2020, I will go to a sports park where there is a basketball court, track and field so that I can begin my recordings. The same day, I will publish my editing blog describing what happened during filming that day.

October 29, 2020, I will begin editing and creating the 30 second commercial.

On October 30, 2020, I will publish my editing blog and submit my commercial through commercial.

Location:

As stated before, the location of the commercial will be outside at a sports field. There could be many other locations that I could have chosen from like a gym or a regular park, but since this is a sports film, it would be good idea t film at a location where the actors could get active. The second location we would use is one of the alternate locations.

Backup Plan:

The backup plan would just be to change the location of the commercial. Since we are stuck in times where some locations are closed, we are not sure whether the chosen location will be open to us. If the sports park that I have chosen to film at is closed, I will find an indoor gym that we can film at or just a regular park where I can film the actors working out. If there is problems such as weather, I will just have to relocate to an indoor gym.
