Production Blog: What if Something Happens?

When creating a film, you always want ton make sure that every participant is safe and well. To continue on making the production, my group and I made establishments to make sure that we are all safe and well to make our film. We set up task for each participant in the group to take part of. All of us will be sure to get tested before we start recording. We wont go and take the actual test, but we will definitely make sure we ask questions such as "Have you been around anybody with COVID the last 14 days?" and other important questions related to that. We will also check each participants temperature to make sure no one is in the fever range before we all come in contact with one another. Materials that we would need to keep everyone safe would be items such as a thermometer and cleaning wipes for equipment to for COVID reasons. For other reasons, we want to bring a first aid kit. Though we really don't need a first aid kit because in our film we aren't doing anything extreme to the point where we may need a kit. But just to have it with us during the film is very important. If anyone gets hurt during the process of filming, we will make sure that we take serious notice into what happened to who. We will also make sure we have backup actors for whatever main actor gets hurt or if the actor gets hurt. If an actor gets hurt or cant show up for recording sessions, we will try to see if anyone can fill in for that actor. This is important because if we have already started filming, we already know what to do. If we know what we want to do and now a main actor cant come in to play their role, then we must put someone in to replace them. If we cant replace the actor, the most we would do is try to change the scenes to where it could still look like a great production just with a missing actor. Something else we would do would be to just try to make the other actors parts more longer if that is okay with them. I do believe that that would be okay with every other actor because like said before, the film is not long. Having first aid is very important no matter if the film is a major extreme film or whether it is a basic small film with not a lot of action in it. Having first aid and making sure everyone is safe is also very important because we are in a pandemic and we want to make sure everyone is safe and with this we can make sure this happens.
