Filming and Editing Blog 1: Setting and Cast

Where my group and I stand in this project is that we are currently figuring out how we are setting up our film. Currently, we are figuring out who will be our cast in the film and where would our film take place. Right now, we know that the four of us will be somewhere in the film because we are the main characters. We do want to ask if there is a possibility of us being able to add any extras just t make the film look more realistic. For extras, we are just planning on to add people that we personally know like family members or other friends but they won't be included in the whole film just a certain part that marks importance of the film. We are not 100% sure where we are going to locate our scene but we are thinking one of our scenes should be in a bedroom and another at a park. The bedroom setting will be the very first setting in the film. This will be the first thing that the audience sees and the bedroom scene starts the film. This scene will be one of the main parts in the film because it shows why what happens, happen. This scene is really important so we felt as if that should have been a good setting because we do believe that most teens do their online school work at home in their room. The park scene and setting is very different. In this part of the film, this is where we would add all our extras. The point of this scene is to show a protest at the park. That's what the a setting is for. At the park, this is the community park so people are protesting against something terrible that happened in their community. So for this, as we know a rally can't have like three people, we want to add in extras to make the scene look better and more interesting to the audience. Throughout this process I do believe my group and I know what were doing. We are just piecing our film together day by day so we can officially know what were doing so that we can actually start filming. This is only the beginning for us and I do believe that we will do really good on our film overall. The steps we are taking now are the most slightest and most basic steps and though we know that it may get harder on us as time goes by, I think w got it.
