The Powerade Commercial Itself.

This is the final part of the commercial. My commercial was based on Powerade. At first I was going to do Gatorade but then I found out that, that was one of the examples shown. Though I didn't get to do what was originally my plan, I ended up improvising and making it into a commercial in the setting of my house. I was disappointed at the fact that everything did not go the way I wanted to, but I think that my commercial still is very good overall. Throughout this whole project, I have learned a lot about Media. The recording process was very easy. Basically, all I did was do different recordings of my actors and picked out the best ones out of all of them. For the presentation of the drinks, I took simple pictures of them and added them to my iMovie so I could continue to add clips and edit when i'm done. I have learned different ways to apply music, text, animations, and words. Some of it was a struggle but most of it was pretty smooth. Since this is one of my first major projects in this class, I do still think I have some more improvement to do. I could do a little bit more work on my editing skills and try to perfect them. And my recording and directing skills could also do a little bit more work. Things that I would have done differently would be to try not to spend most of my time on editing because it was very time consuming for me when it shouldn't have been because the commercial is only 30 seconds. Instead, I should have focused more on perfecting my acting skills and my actors acting skills. Even though we are not real actors, I do believe that those parts of the commercial could have been more perfected. I do believe for the next project, I will be more experienced and will know what to do. Other than that, I think my commercial came out very well. I took some time on it to make it the best I could have.
