Storyboard: Music Video Conventions

 Scene 1:

In the first scene, this will be the introduction of the music video. In the intro, we will be introducing ourselves as R Kelly and Usher instead of or actual names. In this scene, R Kelly walks in and proceeds to walk towards his living room couch ready to talk to his friend Usher.

Scene 2:

Scene two will consist of R Kelly sitting and getting comfortable on his couch and gets comfortable. He starts to think about how he is going to tell his friend the great news about his love life.

Scene 3:

This scene is where R Kelly starts to take out his phone to call his friend. Excitedly, he dials Ushers phone number and waits for the phone to ring.

 Scene 4:

In this scene, we now move to Usher. This is when Usher now shows up on the screen and he is sitting down on his couch as he receives an incoming call from R Kelly. As he proceeds to answer the call, he pauses his television show. 

 Scene 5: 

Usher then answers the call excited to hear from his friend.

Scene 6:

This scene previews R Kelly ready to spill all the information about his new girlfriend. He sits back on his couch, kicks his feet up on the coffee table, then proceeds to talk to Usher.

7th Scene:

Usher is on the other line listening to his friend. Excited to hear about the woman he has met.

8th Scene:

R Kelly stands up in excitement, pacing around the room wanting to give his friend all the details about who he has met.

9th Scene:

As he is listening, Usher began to have a worried face expression. As he is listening to the details that R Kelly is giving, he realizes some of the similarities are the same as the girl he is talking to. After hearing what he needs to hear, Usher than stands up in confusion.

10th Scene:

Usher then also began to pace around his living room. After listening to his friend, he also ask a few questions about the girl.

11th Scene:

R Kelly is then shocked as he figures out what is going on.

12th Scene:

This last scene previews the two in disbelief. It gives a shot of both of them finding out that they are messing with the same woman.

Production Blog: Halfway There

 My group and I are still currently filming our video for our final task. The due date for the assignment is almost near and we are halfway through the video. We currently recorded the parts where we decided that we were going to split then this weekend, we plan to meet up at a park and rehearse the last scene of the film. Due to the fact that the assignment is due in a week, I think my group is on perfect timing. After the meet on Sunday, we plan to start editing the video so that we can attach it to our blogs. On Sunday, it is our last shooting day out of 4. We plan on meeting up at a park where we all are close by, and we will shoot the last minute or the last few seconds of the film. The beginning or the first minute and a half of the film, we did all our recordings at our homes by ourselves. This works because it is like everyone is getting a phone call from separate areas. Production Blog: First Few Seconds

During spring break, my group and i started our recording process for our film for our final task. Our group  has been working hard to get our first scene right. The first clip of the video is about 15 - 30 seconds long. After finishing it the editor of the group has begun doing the editing process of the film. Since the break, we haven't done much recording since. We want to film each scene piece by piece. We also understand that some of the group mates might b busy from time to time that's why we broke up our filming dates. We are also still currently in the starting process of our film. We do plan on doing some more recording this weekend since we do have a 3 day weekend and it gives us much time to do some recording. We plan on recording our second scene of the film and then try to do some more recording throughout the week. Production Blog: Sunday and Final Plans

 Finally, my group and I have officially decided what we were going to do and we confirmed it. So now, because we still haven't recorded our final part of the film, which will be recorded on Sunday, we are still at Base B with our film but for sure we are almost done. Currently, every member of the group has their own parts. Like said before in the last blog, we want to start editing our film around next Tuesday so that we can submit our film on Thursday. To start editing on Tuesday, we have to submit all of our clips by Tuesday so our editor of the group can start editing. It is for sure that every person apart of our group will be in the film. I will be in the first clip, I will be the one who commits suicide. Most likely I will only be in that only clip of the film. I will also be apart of another clip but I will be on a flyer. For the flyer of course, we would have to use that as a prop. The flyer will be only shown for about 10 seconds in the film so that the audience can read...
