Filming Blog: Music Video Conventions

 Usually, I'll start the blog off by saying what day I begun to film on. This time, obviously, I won't be doing that. My partner and I originally had planned to blog during November 22-24 which was in the middle of Thanksgiving break. I hope its safe to say that neither of us even touched our computer over the break. Due to us not filming when we originally planned to, we had to make some adjustments. We will now film our music video on December 2nd. Since we wont be able to see each other on that actual day, we will have to resort back to our backup plan. Our backup plan consists of us Filming ourselves separately, then editing them together. Due to December 2nd being a school day, we will most likely film later on in the day. For sure, we will both be filming on our phones, which are both iPhones. My partner and I expect things to run quite smoothly being that we both are familiar with filming. We are also both familiar with the actual song that we will be doing. This means that during the filming process, it won't take long to learn or perfect the lyrics. We might have to have another phone playing the actual song while we film for timing reasons. In our original plan, we hoped to have a third person. In this plan, a third person is looking less likely to happen due to us not filming where we planned to, which was a hotel room. Due to us not being able to film in a hotel room we will both film in our houses. Most of our props that we planned to film with may not be used such as the table. Surely, a phone will still be used as one of our main props. My partner and I both believe that during the filming process, things will run smoothly. At least we hope so, lol. All in all, we will try to have as much fun as possible while also being productive. My partner and I hope it turns out great.

 My group and I are still currently filming our video for our final task. The due date for the assignment is almost near and we are halfway through the video. We currently recorded the parts where we decided that we were going to split then this weekend, we plan to meet up at a park and rehearse the last scene of the film. Due to the fact that the assignment is due in a week, I think my group is on perfect timing. After the meet on Sunday, we plan to start editing the video so that we can attach it to our blogs. On Sunday, it is our last shooting day out of 4. We plan on meeting up at a park where we all are close by, and we will shoot the last minute or the last few seconds of the film. Production Blog: First Few Seconds

During spring break, my group and i started our recording process for our film for our final task. Our group  has been working hard to get our first scene right. The first clip of the video is about 15 - 30 seconds long. After finishing it the editor of the group has begun doing the editing process of the film. Since the break, we haven't done much recording since. We want to film each scene piece by piece. We also understand that some of the group mates might b busy from time to time that's why we broke up our filming dates. We are also still currently in the starting process of our film. We do plan on doing some more recording this weekend since we do have a 3 day weekend and it gives us much time to do some recording. We plan on recording our second scene of the film and then try to do some more recording throughout the week. Production Blog: Sunday and Final Plans

 Finally, my group and I have officially decided what we were going to do and we confirmed it. So now, because we still haven't recorded our final part of the film, which will be recorded on Sunday, we are still at Base B with our film but for sure we are almost done. Currently, every member of the group has their own parts. Like said before in the last blog, we want to start editing our film around next Tuesday so that we can submit our film on Thursday. To start editing on Tuesday, we have to submit all of our clips by Tuesday so our editor of the group can start editing. It is for sure that every person apart of our group will be in the film. I will be in the first clip, I will be the one who commits suicide. Most likely I will only be in that only clip of the film. I will also be apart of another clip but I will be on a flyer.
