Storyboard Blog

 Scene 1

The first scene will be the introduction of the commercial. The introduction will  present a story line of the first actor being shown playing one of the sports, most likely football. It will proceed to show after the the football player has finished throwing his last football of the day. After throwing the ball, we will show visuals of the player being tired and needing something to drink.

Scene 2

The second scene, will show another actor, a female this time. The female actor will be a track runner and she will be seen running two laps around the track. After running, her actions will show that she is terribly tired and needs a drink. After, she looks around, sees a Powerade drink, then lock eyes with the football player that is also exhausted from working out and practicing.

Scene 3

Next scene is a male basketball player. The basketball player has just finished making shots into the basketball hoop. As in similarity as the other two athletes, he is tired. He then locks eyes with the other two athletes. At this point, since there is only one Powerade drink left in the cooler, they already knows what this means.

Scene 4

As they all realize that there is only one last refreshing drink in the cooler, they all lock eyes and it shows a clip of all of the athletes side eyeing each other. As they finish side eyeing, the three actors use their athletic ability and speeds over to the cooler. 

Scene 5

Once they arrive to the cooler, the girl ends up picking up an ice cold grape flavored Powerade and giggles at the other two athletes. As the other actors played their part as being tired and looking desperate for something refreshing, the coach walks upon them with a case full of Powerades in different flavors.  As the three actors looks at the coach and smiles, the other two athlete grabs their bottles and go home.

Scene 6

The 6th scene will be the credits. It will include the names of the actors, directors, sound credits, and anything else that took part in the commercial.

Production Blog: Halfway There

 My group and I are still currently filming our video for our final task. The due date for the assignment is almost near and we are halfway through the video. We currently recorded the parts where we decided that we were going to split then this weekend, we plan to meet up at a park and rehearse the last scene of the film. Due to the fact that the assignment is due in a week, I think my group is on perfect timing. After the meet on Sunday, we plan to start editing the video so that we can attach it to our blogs. On Sunday, it is our last shooting day out of 4. We plan on meeting up at a park where we all are close by, and we will shoot the last minute or the last few seconds of the film. The beginning or the first minute and a half of the film, we did all our recordings at our homes by ourselves. This works because it is like everyone is getting a phone call from separate areas. Production Blog: First Few Seconds

During spring break, my group and i started our recording process for our film for our final task. Our group  has been working hard to get our first scene right. The first clip of the video is about 15 - 30 seconds long. After finishing it the editor of the group has begun doing the editing process of the film. Since the break, we haven't done much recording since. We want to film each scene piece by piece. We also understand that some of the group mates might b busy from time to time that's why we broke up our filming dates. We are also still currently in the starting process of our film. We do plan on doing some more recording this weekend since we do have a 3 day weekend and it gives us much time to do some recording. We plan on recording our second scene of the film and then try to do some more recording throughout the week. Production Blog: Sunday and Final Plans

 Finally, my group and I have officially decided what we were going to do and we confirmed it. So now, because we still haven't recorded our final part of the film, which will be recorded on Sunday, we are still at Base B with our film but for sure we are almost done. Currently, every member of the group has their own parts. Like said before in the last blog, we want to start editing our film around next Tuesday so that we can submit our film on Thursday. To start editing on Tuesday, we have to submit all of our clips by Tuesday so our editor of the group can start editing. It is for sure that every person apart of our group will be in the film. I will be in the first clip, I will be the one who commits suicide. Most likely I will only be in that only clip of the film. I will also be apart of another clip but I will be on a flyer.
